10 days sailing cruise from Cannigione in northern Sardinia to Imperia in Liguria through the amazing scenario of the Bonifacio Strict and the Corsica Island .
Start of this sailing cruise the harbour of Cannigione village on the northern part of Costa Smeralda at 30 minutes drive from Olbia's airport ; check-in Aug.25th after 6pm, choose your cabin, let your bags, have a beer with us and than if you wish come with us to the supermarket and let us know what you like or trust Irene co-skipper and cook on board she will choose easy, quick, healthy but tasty italian and sardinian specialities for our cruise ; regarding beverages some good vermentino (tipical white sardinian wine) so good as aperitive or dining, beer and whatever else you like .
First step of this sailing cruise the Islands of la Maddalena Archipelago their creeks are such a nice place to anchor !! After a pair of nights sleeping around in quiet bays we'll enter a small 'marina' Maddalena's town to pass the evening on ground for an apero, a pizza and some night-life ; left Maddalena we enter the Bonifacio Strict Channel here more beautiful islands as Budelli Razzoli and Santa Maria end the french lavezzi and Cavallo where we'll anchor to have a swim among fishes ; we are infact here in a Sea Natural Park .
Crossed finally the Bonifacio Strict and checked carefully the weather and sea forecast we decide now if sailing along the west corsican coat (nicer but exposed to mistral waves coming from Lion Gulf or the east one much more protected . We'll mount Corsica in 2/3 days and from its Northern point (capo corso) we'll jump the 80 miles to Italian coast in a day open sea crossing to end the cruise in Santo Stefano al Mare cute village on the coast of Liguria at few kilometers from french border . Check-out on Sept.4th within 10 am .
